Help with BlueSCSI and Mac Plus

Hi, It's very likely that the images you're using have the LIDO driver installed. This will not work with your Mac Plus. See the Note under the section about the Plus: https://github.com/erichelgeson/BlueSCSI/wiki/Supported-Systems

    Yet Another Netatalk 2.2 Fork

    Congratulations! This is so neat!

    Yet Another Netatalk 2.2 Fork

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I'll look into this. And thank you for MacIPRpi - it's been in constant use for months and it's wonderful. I also need to check whether there might be a firewall issue. Maybe some ports are blocked and I'm not aware.

    Yet Another Netatalk 2.2 Fork

I'll double check, thanks. The MacIPRpi doesn't have anything in its atalkd.conf file but maybe the default is -router. I'll take a look.

    Yet Another Netatalk 2.2 Fork

Thank you. I made the chance but to no avail. I do have an instance of MacIPRpi running, and it tunnels 192.168.0.x to 172.16.2.x. Its own atalkd.conf is completely empty, but it shows up in the Chooser of an old Mac. When I run nbplkup on both machines, I get: * on the MacIPRpi machine...

    Yet Another Netatalk 2.2 Fork

I'm running into some difficulties having the file server appear in the Chooser of a classic Mac using Ethernet on the same subnet as the Netatalk server. I have taken inspiration from the config of a MacIPpi (which works) and, as far as I can tell, they're pretty much identical. Using an older...

    Yet Another Netatalk 2.2 Fork

I lulled the child back to sleep with tales of the atalkd and afpd daemons that, once again, were whispering in the wires all through the house. Tomorrow, I'll tell the tale of papd who makes machines vomit paper. Always a favorite, that one.

I wanted to mention that I just found this thread, uttered a very loud "OMG YES" and woke up a small child in the process. I'm so happy you did all this work. Thank you.

LC III - No video, no sound, and weird schematic

That's what I do too: in the face of adversity, change your adversary :) (and sorry, I misread the 385V) Keep us posted when you come around to giving the LC III another shot!

LC III - No video, no sound, and weird schematic

Hey no problem. Glad I could help removing some doubts. I haven't done much research so it's a wild guess but isn't reference 493-14773-ND on Digi-Key a good candidate? Too tall maybe? And that's too bad about the resistor :( I hope you can locate it. A good way is to walk around barefoot and...

LC III - No video, no sound, and weird schematic

So: C5 does not have any continuity with R7. Its positive pad has continuity with the right side of R8, the left side of C6 and the test point above and to its left. Its negative pad has continuity with the middle and rightmost pins of LP2, both on top and bottom. As for R26... well, as weird...

LC III - No video, no sound, and weird schematic

Here's what mine looks like. It looks indeed like R7 and R8 are connected. Is there a specific test or measurement you'd like me to run?

    Apple IIc french keyboard layout

You need to use the pound sign (£) wherever you're supposed to type a #. So for instance: IN#2 becomes IN£2 Eventually, it becomes second nature :)

SSHeven: a modern SSH client for Mac OS 7/8/9

Correct. But the thrill of working on a modern machine from the comfort of the Classic interface is not to be understated :)
