From memory it's doubtfull that 128Mb simms would work... Still I'd love to hear that it did work... I record video with my 840av sometimes & the more memory the better... but are the simms fpm? & paired?

I use 8.1... os9 and the macs redundant os 6 & 7 are ok if it's a 68040 mac then it's 8.1 all the way here

"Graphic converter" does a great job of converting image formats.

Haha :) So I go and switch my 840av on... & the screen is about an inch off to one side! It's catching! .... You know, I have a pc lcd monitor & the monitor adapter has dip switches and this has solved the problem for me in the past... I don't have a solution at this moment in...

It's something that happens IIRC, so don't panic just yet I think there is a simple solution... Can't remember the solution off the top of my head...

What is the cheapest/smallest mac? The contenders I can think of are; Quadra 700 Powerbook duo 280c MacMini I want something... I think I could live with os 7.1 if I needed to, but os 8.1 is better.... I'm not keen on os 9, but am keen to try os 10 I need to transfer files and could do...

That's what I'm wondering..... But I don't know, as I am running os 8.1 & I have done this sort of thing many time before... I set up a RamDisk and tried saving to that.... I get the same error message.

So I have my 840av working.... it's running off've a 2gig external hard drive. I recorded some video and saved the file which then has to be converted, but when I try to save the converted file, from "Movie player", it begins the process, but then only gets maybe a 5th of the way through and...
