Just answering my own question, just changed and tested with 74HCT166 and picture is clear perferct! :) So, the proper replacement for 74ls166 is 74HCT166 and not 74HC166!

Not that I have found any, I have reflowed UG7 or UG8 ( ones that I heat to make it work ), but no change there. Probably will try to source 74ls166 on ebay or something, locally only hc`s are available.
