Neither it worked :(   The next thing I'll do is rule out that the card is not defective by connecting it to a PC.

Are you sure ?, we are talking about Mac OS 9   In any case I've tried with a USB mouse with the same result as the pendrive.

How you behave a Mac OS 9.x after inserting a flash drive? Do I need to install any third party software (drivers, extension, utilitity ...) to access the files?

If I insert a flash drive formatted in FAT file system, Mac should see when recording a file as a drive more.   I think I need specific drivers for my card.

Where is this item? I only see First Aids and Diskcopy .( Perhaps you mean what in my system is called  "Configuración de unidades"  (configuration units). That only appears hard drives and the CD-ROM, pero nada de USB.

Gracias Luis.   Now, whith those extensions the net card It is recognized and works.   However, when I insert a flash drive the computer seems not aware.   Should I do something special to explore a pendrive?

The truth is that my Mac detects the USB card as you can see in the second picture.   In the first image I had not yet installed the USB card.   I think it is a problem of drivers / extensions.   Here is discussed a "USB Adapter Card Support 1.4.1". Where could I get this file?   Thanks again.
