re. I've seriously though of taking the MessagePad with me into meetings and seeing if anyone notices... Go for it. I took notes on my Newton at a conference in Tokyo University a few years ago. It was a great ice-breaker to start up conversations.

Hello. I hope all are well. I started my PowerBook G3 today and for some reason the folders won't open when I double click :-( I restarted the PowerBook but same problem. I have not installed anything since my last use 3 days ago. Is there a solution? Thank you.

I have cleaned the Stylewriter but now the PowerBook 1400c OS8.5 will not recognize the printer as I get a 'port in use by another application' alert :-( So I got out my Stylewriter 2400 and that connected OK (though cannot print for another reason). What causes the  'port in use by another...

Hi. I have a simple question: is the Stylewriter 2400 orange light indicating  a specific problem?  I have added a new ink cartridge, cleaned with alcohol, the PowerBook 1400c connects  BUT cannot print due to the orange light. What could be the error? Thank you.

Thank you. The keyboard is quite sensitive: sometimes the keys work, other times they do not. I can live with it as they now 'mostly' work after a few minutes. 

Hi. I have a Lombard G3 running OS 9.1 with MS Word 2001.  In the Word File drop down menu I can see a list of previous document names from previous owner. The docs have been deleted. How do I remove this list? Thank you.
