Nice job Equant. However - in the "About" menu, under the Apple - it says About RCWW2007 instead of 2008. Then again, I'm sure my Talking Moose version slaughtered the pronunciation of people's names and nicknames. I'm bummed I didn't get a single comment about it though.

I've got a g3 ibook - still on OS 9 - that I was backing up to a g4 via Firewire target disk mode. If you drag the disk to another disk - it does the alias thing. If you drag the contents - it copies them - but does not copy the desktop folder contents. I had 1.5 gigs of stuff it didn't copy...

Pretty cool that it has PS/2 keyboard ports. Can you take pictures of the back ports panel when you get it?

Thank you for these icons. Some great ones in there. Unfortunately I had trouble opening these on an OS 9 system. Using either Stuffit Expander or Unzip to unzip the archive - everything expands fine but no custom icons are included - the resource forks don't come with them. So I unzipped it...

I'd love to see the PowerCD "intro" CD as well. Any way you could dupe it on a modern machine?

Can you tell us more about the Performa - what model is it? No classic Mac audio application had built in remote control functionality. Your best bet would be to use a Macro app like Quickkeys. Do you know if the Apple remote in effect sent "key presses" or function keys to the computer? If...

It looks like there needs to be additional hardware to support two drives. Addonics has an ide-scsi adapter for 1 drive - $85, and 2 drives - $105. http://www.addonics.com/products/io/ad2idesc.asp The single drive is about twice what I paid for the Acard. Unfortunately - or fortunately...
