Haven’t had any luck on my end. It might require a special control panel but the hard drive in the machine had either been replaced or erased (was not the factory drive). Any leads on your end?
I think so? It all looks pretty clean. When I do not have the card slotted into the board, I do not get the "Nubus/PDS Slot# = $0E, Pseudo Nubus Slot# = 1" so at some level it seems like the card is getting detected.
I found a miro Rainbow Q1 PDS video card in a Quadra 700 that I picked up recently. It did come with a hard drive, but it was a fresh install of OS 8.0 and there were not any drivers/control panels/extensions. I am having a difficult time getting video out of the card despite trying multiple CPs...
Hi everyone! I also ended up with a miro PDS video card (Rainbow v1.6) inside of a Quadra 700. I was not able to get video out of it (yet), so I also reached out to Maik (awesome guy, got back to me right away) and he sent me all of his Mac drivers. He said it was ok to share them so I have...

Thanks for the info! Appreciate it. Yes that’s true about there not being a Power Mac 9100. I usually think about the 8500 and 9500 models when comparing the 8 and 9 series since the 8100 and 8500 share the same chassis design.
Thanks for the info about the Workgroup Server 60 as well! That's...
The $90 WGS 8550's front bezels are mismatched and the CD or floppy bezel seems to have been glued in with epoxy of some sort (look between the two bezels). It's another reference point at least. And yes, this will be a local pickup, as I am not a master packer haha. Thanks for the info!
Hi everyone. I have a Workgroup Server 8150 that I am looking to sell. It is in nice shape, has all the front bezels (the 8000/9000 series towers typically have damaged plastic or missing the CD bezel at minimum since the plastics have gotten especially brittle on these), the optical and floppy...
