    Developing for 68k Macs on a modern(ish) Mac?

    Executor would be a good alternative to GrayBox then - I don't know if it's been ported to OS X, but it's Free Software (in the rms sense) now.

    G4-533DP $19.99!

    The Znyx ZX345 (aka Apple 10/100 Fast Ethernet Card) should work just fine with that G4, and they can often be found on eBay for <=$10 shipped. (look for an apple-branded one atm) Just don't get a ZX345*Q* since the driver situation is murkier...
