Oh, somehow I missed this thread last year! Fun one...
I will have to dig around my archives and see what I can find. In the ~fall of ~1995 or so, some folks tried to get a 'demo scene' started up for the Mac; some of the nicks that I recall were PunkFloyd & Demos. They wrote some proof of...
I use a GL.iNet GL-AR300M for that same purpose. I keep meaning to come up with a way to power it from ADB or elsewhere from the host Mac, to make it more of a self-contained solution. It's a super useful little dongle to have.
Very niche question - do you know if this supports absolute (as opposed to relative) mouse positioning, to provide a more performant experience with pikvm hardware? I've used a wombat in the past with it for USB/ADB conversion*, but mouse performance is super sluggish since only relative...

Incredible... Makes me super nostalgic for Dad's PB 100 that he ordered immediately when they were announced... Loved that little machine. Picked up a 180c a while back to try to scratch the 68k PowerBook itch, but it's not the same! :D
Y'all might already be aware, but Apple's current keyboards work great as wired USB keyboards when plugged in via USB. I have several that I use as keyboards for my various Raspberry Pi & similar small form factor computers, and even my vintage Macs (with a wombat adapter)... They're great...
Reading this thread makes me regret selling off my G4 mini (purchased on the day it was announced!) for like $80 ~15 years ago... Didn't see that regret coming! Thought there was no way I'd have a use for it again! :D
