I recently got a battery bombed iici. Most of the board is fine just damaged around the battery area. Missing parts are Y6 and Y5. I have non working iicx board. Can you used the missing parts from the iicx board?

These were all damaged prior to shipping. I fixed the bent legs on chips. And removed the C6 cap and now it works.

I tested the card and it is not working. No video.

I recently won this in an auction. Seller described as fully working. I plugged to check if it works and it doesn’t. After upon closer inspection I noticed that the there is one cracked chip. Is this common chip that I can replace from another nubus video card?

Yes is sharp. Here is the update on this. I removed the vinegar syndrome display and plugged to display with missing line and it works. The display is as sharp (no pun indented) as it can be. The flickering issue is also gone. So i think the problem is with the display connector from logic...

I have one that is recapped and works great. How rare are these?

I bought another 540c that has vinegar syndrome. I will replace the cable to see if that fixes it.

I just confirmed that mine has Toshiba screen and the display cable part number is 821-0056-A 632-0050-A.
