    Powerbook 1xx PRAM battery removal

    when i had to do it i didn't feel like getting my iron out. i pulled one of the tabs off of the battery CAREFULLY as to not rip it off the interconnect board, then i twisted the leads slightly left and right closeish to the board untill they snapped from metal fatigue

    Bizarre issues with a 160

    i am having very weird issues with a powerbook 160, i have  suspicion that it has to do with an interconnect cable as it has been bent a lot and looks pinched in some places. it gets worse over time and sound will stop working after time

    I used all brand new caps, all are nichicon minus one as i ordered the wrong voltsge all are THT electrolytic, cleaned all pads, all traces and pads look good i used leaded rosin solder and cleaned the pads the only thing i can think of is that some of the leads stick out from the pads a bit...

    Imac g4 no 5 volts

    I have a heavily beaten up imac g4 17in usb 2 that i got for 25 dollars. I suspect that there is no 5 volts. The light on the bottom of the motherboard and the fan turn on when the power button is pressed. Does anyone have a schematic cause id rather try and fix it than shell out 100 dollars for...
