Made a v2 but have to wait 24 hours to publish it on thingiverse. I'll post the link tomorrow.
Just added a thin layer to the bottom. This is to prevent the power leads on the board from grounding out if by some odd chance the board flexed enough during install/removal when the machine was on.
I had the same molex and mounting issues when I wanted to install the ide adapter in my 6360 so I drew up and printed a custom bracket that just barely fits without stressing the power wires. I'll see if i can dig up the stl file and post it here.
Interesting! I have a 6500/275 Creative Studio Edition and the video out card is populating one of the PCI slots.
The card in question appears to be the same as this unit from Focus Enhancements that connects to the video out slot.

Server: Beige G3 desktop running 9.2.2
Client: Power Mac 5200/75 running 7.5.3
Transfer: Folder 7.6MB containing 4 files.

Funny, before I even plugged these in I searched for the extension only to come up with nothing. I've read this entire thread and can't find any references to it. Everything I've read suggest it's plug and play.
Is there a chooser extension and I'm just completely missing it??
Thanks for the suggestion. Both machines I'm using have the the printer port set under the appletalk or network control panel, which is the physical serial port im using on both, so it all appears correct. Airtalk is currently configured and working on both but neither list it in the chooser...
Bought a few of these and had some time to test this week... but apparently all the serial cables I have are straight through, as I tested them and they don't successfully connect two macs over localtalk or work with Airtalk. I did have a few sets of phonenet adapters which worked fine to...
I'm very worried for you. I had a 5200 shipped from a few states away and the seller was amazing. He packed it up extremely well with layers upon layers of bubble wrap, double boxed, corner protection, just top notch... even after all that it still arrived cracked in a few places. But I...
