Need help finding a cable HD20 to zuluscsi

I have a zuluscsi rp2040 mini with a 25 pin male connector that plugs into the scsi port of my MacPlus. I also have an apple 20MB hard drive. I would like to be able to plug the zuluscsi into the second scsi port on the hard drive. This would allow me to easily move files from the hard drive onto the zuluscsi. I'm wondering if the following is the correct cable. https://www.amazon.com/SCSI-Adapter-CN50-Male-Female/dp/B003U44M6G. It looks like it has the correct connectors on it, but I don't know if the wiring within the cable is correct for my application. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks...Randy

There are better prices than that. Something like this would do. Make sure that only the end device is terminated.

Does the disk say 20SC or HD20 on it?

Thanks for your reply. The DB25 end must be female, which are hard to find and I assume is why they are more expensive...Randy

Thanks for your reply. It is an Apple 20SC hard drive...Randy
That makes much more sense - I was confused. There is a completely different, not SCSI, external disk made by Apple called the HD20.

The cable I linked, and other similar ones for similar prices (not being in the US, I can't see your shipping costs), will work. As long as you set up termination correctly on the two devices.

ah right. Hum.

You might just get away with a gender bender to sort that :

Thanks for your reply. I have the appropriate gender bender. The keyword in your reply is 'might'. I wondered about doing that, but I don't want to damage anything. Termination is simple, I remove the current terminator from the SC20 and add the zuluscsi at the end of the chain as the zuluscsi mini has 'always on' termination...Randy

I've used one of these and it's absolutely fine. It's just like a very very short cable (so long as it's actually manufactured properly, obviously).

"Might" is because it is 12:23AM, I've been drinking, and I don't trust myself to think too hard.

The listing has a picture of the wiring - it routes pin 1 to pin 1 etc etc, so it effectively doesn't exist in the cable chain. But... given I've been drinking I don't feel comfortable talking in absolutes. Perhaps someone more sober and in a more sensible timezone can confirm for us 🤣

Or @cheesestraws - in the same timezone, but hopefully sober.

I am sober, and far too awake for half past midnight. Oh well...

I've actually got one of these wedged inside one of my SEs, for complicated reasons, so... :). It should be good.

The one I have is 'wired' the same way. I checked it out with my multi-meter earlier today...Randy

It doesn't look like I can get the appropriate cable/adapter in Canada. If someone knows of a source for such a cable in Canada I'd appreciate it if you would let me know where. Thanks...Randy

They're pretty standard cables. Search for "SCSI cable" and look for one that has a 25 pin connector on one end and centronix on the other. or "SCSI cable 25 pin", and look for one with a fat end on the other end.

Technically they're called "SCSI System leads", but no ebayer is going to bother calling them that.

Thanks for your reply. I've done that, but none of the matches for Canada have the correct cn50 connector. They are female and I need male. I can get the correct cable from ebay or other vendors outside Canada. I've spent a considerable amount of time looking using various search terms. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and order from outside Canada and pay an outrageous amount for shipping, duty, etc. Such is life...Randy

But, we just covered this, you use the gender changer?

Wait, you mean the centronix? That is never the wrong gender - look closer.
