QuadraFPGA: HDMI for the 68040 PDS slot

A few late, high-end supported 1600x1200 but none went higher as far as I know. Is this the first time a 68K machine has supported 1920x1080?

Best option for 1024x768 video on IIci?

How important is the word 'best'? Do you absolutely have to have 24-bit colour and QuickDraw acceleration, nice though they are? I ask because «settling» for a card without Quickdraw acceleration and 24-bit colour will halve the price of a card. I run my IIfx at 1024x768 at 256 colours with a...

    2400c 7.6.1PCMCIA drivers?

A thought that comes to mind is CarbonLib. If I'm right, you'll to experiment a bit, say, PCMCIA drivers from SSW 8.1 or 8.6, Finder from SSW 7.6.1 and System from SSW 8.1 as well CarbonLib 1.0, 1.1 or 1.2. If I remember correctly SSW 8.1 supports up to CarbonLib 1.2.

    Question about DVI port

There DVI-VGA adapters for this DVI-I port are readily available. I can send you one if you want (for the price of postage) but I'm in Switzerland.

    Question about DVI port

Have a look at this: http://docs.red.com/955-0035/REDROCKETInstallationInstructions/Content/B_DVI-I%20Cable%20Pinout/DVI-I%20Cable%20Pinout.htm Digital Video Interface This section provides the pinout for the two (2) male DVI-I output connectors on...

    Question about DVI port

Those two long vertical bars between the 24 pins to the left/centre and the 4 analogue pins on the right are interesting. I wonder whether this is a card has a modified port for a dedicated cable to a device of some sort?

Switzerland: PowerBook PCMCIA Expansion Module (with PB 540c)

Unless it's a PB 550c but the seller would surely have mentioned that.

Switzerland: PowerBook PCMCIA Expansion Module (with PB 540c)

There is an auction (for want of a better word) in Switzerland for a PowerBook PCMCIA Expansion Module (rev. C, I think) and it comes with a free working PowerBook 540c, cables & charger. At CHF 600 (roughly USD 660), it is much too pricey for my liking but there may be some collectors who find...

    3DFx Voodoo 5 5500 PCI MAC: support?

Are there RAVE drivers for Mac OS X? Would these make a difference?

Look what the Easter bunny brought

I had a look for an AppleSauce and found that they are sold out, which is a pity. It looks like something worth saving for. What any equivalents are there? https://applesaucefdc.com/

Look what the Easter bunny brought

I don‘t. What is AppleSauce? Does it make a bit-for-bit copy of the disk?

Look what the Easter bunny brought

To go with my 1985 system, which at the moment is a 512K, a LaserWriter Plus waiting to be fixed and MacWrite on 400K floppy, I present what I think v1.2 of Aldus PageMaker. These last two pictures are of a Macally 6-port FireWire card. I had never seen one before and bought it immediately...
