sixsevenco
I don’t have an ImageWriter. Any way to print? I’m wondering if I had a direct serial connection to a print server that could handle the printing... maybe I’m dreaming.

lisa2
Yes, the IIc serial ports (printer and modem) are RS-232 using a 5 pin DIN connector. Edited July 22, 2019 by lisa2
sixsevenco
It looks like I'm not the only person with this idea. I was hoping I could use my ADTPro cable to connect to a serial point on a linux print server.
NJRoadfan
The ImageWriter LQ emulation in GSport is completely modular. All you'd have to do is write a port monitoring deamon for Linux and pipe the emulator's output to CUPS and run it on something like a RPi.
JAG
Sorry if this is resurrecting a thread past it's due date, but this looks interesting: https://www.retroprinter.com/ I've been thinking about buying one and can report back if I do so.
MichaelLAX
I move my Apple //c files over to my Mac using BMOW's Floppy EMU (micro-SD-->SD reader) and then use Gerard Putter's excellent Virtual ][ emulator to print to my Epson Artisan 810 This is actually a KoalaPad PICTR file that I had to use CiderPress in Windows XP in Parallels to be able to read its unique graphic file:
