Dennis Nedry
I have an Apple Newton that I got for free. Judging by pictures, it must be either an OMP or a 100. How can I tell which one it really is? It's kind of a neat little thing and I'd like to know more about it.
MacJunky
My OMP has FCC I.D BCGH1000 Model Number H1000 and copyright of 1993 Mine was officially an Apple Service part and not retail, it came with NOS 1.11 I do not know about the 100 but on my OMP it just says "MessagePad" on the bottom of the front. Is any of that different on yours? I don't even know how different the 100 is.

Dennis Nedry
Ah, yes, this helps. I definitely have a 100 model because of the sticker under the battery holder. Who would have thought it would be so hard to tell apart? Anyway thanks. Problem solved.
