fri0701
I'm in the process of replacing my Lisa keyboard's foam pads, and I realized that the caps lock key doesn't stick halfway down like it should. I'm afraid I may have lost something from the mechanism that makes this work. Does anyone happen to have any detailed pictures of the caps lock assembly (or would anyone be willing to take them, for science? )
Mirthful1
Ahoy there. Looks like you and I are in similar boats. I just recently finished a redo of the foam pads for a Lisa and am about to figure out how to put together the CapsLock assembly. From the sound of it, you might have lost one or both of the two bits that are in the assembly. For your assistance, I've uploaded some pics of the parts and if I can figure this out, I'll upload a view of the final assembly. Cheers, Gary
Ziggystar12
You are missing a tiny gold pin and a super tiny spring. .5 mm is my guess. If you find replacements for the spring, my guess is you could fashion a replacement pin from a machined socket pin perhaps. Although it's pretty small.
frozenfish
Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and was told about it by someone last night. I would like to know if anyone could safely confirm the size of the "spring" in the mechanism? Probably the diameter of it would be best. Thank you
