ok gang, we've got this risc based imposter masquerading as a twentieth anniversary macintosh. i propose that we come up with a spec for an AuthenticTAM w/68kCachet and try to get apple to license the Logo and ROMs for a 68060/DSP retro design similar to nikon's SP redux or that funny lookin' roadster.what features would best represent apple computing's 68k glory days and act as a counterpoint to highlight and showcase what is best in PPC and OS-X for the next twenty years? (and get me IDE/ParallelPort/USB/Firewire/PCI . . . . and more than 1.5 serial freakin' ports, etc. on a g****m 68k . . . . . . FINALLY!!!!!!) suggestions? |
