I've thought about this (too much) what about getting a small crt to sit the IIc housing and something like a LCIII board into the ketboard unit. Any input?

actually a pb-//c hack is an interesting idea that i haven't seen yet, haven't looked around enough to know if your suggestion is original or has been done already. i have a gut feeling that a desktop mobo into a Laser 128 //c clone might be more practical and a mac clone mobo with a real working expansion slot into a //c clone would be absolutely killer.

i don't think you've spent enough time on this one, it's really good, the potential of your concept is remarkable.

great idea, comrade!

p.s. i reread your post, if you meant //e, THANK YOU! great typo!

Hey, I didn't think of that. The //c+ I saw at the thrift store would be cool to hack something else into. I'm almost sure an LC 475 mobo woulf fit...but I wonder if I could mesh the internal keyboard to it...?

no money for it i thought? in trade for right of first refusal on a find (two if eprom remapping is required) at said emporium to be disclosed at a later date, this humble keyboard hack maniac offers his services!

Well, if I can scrape together $10, which is what they wanted just for the CPU, I can go get it. However, I want to make sure I'll be able to use the internal keyboard with a LC 475 mobo, and I know you're just the guy to figure out how to do it!

<whips out his Mac II Stick of Justice in preparation for melee, trips over a gaggle of power cords, finds himself on the floor as well>
