Recently snagged an SE/30 from the dump. It has a card in the NuBus slot. Sorry, I'm not at the card, can't tell which model. All SE/30 video cards are RGB, right? Please say yes....Mac+=4, MacSE=1, MacSE30=2, P400=1, PB520c=1, Q650=1, UberQ950=1, Performa All-in-One=TBD PM7500=SQRT(-1) Edited by - dunbar on 03 Oct 2003 07:03:29 |

Sorry, they're not ALL color cards, some were grayscale and there might have been some B&W only High Res cards too. It's time to run TattleTech! jt ™. Trash Hauler: call sign: eight-ball C.O. AC-130H SpecOps 68kMLAAF |

hook the best monitor you can find to it, and see what it does will an SE or SE/30 run the internal as well as an external display? it'd be interesting to see that Official 68k videographer Official MLA TourGuide Editor of the MLAgazine "I'm just a normal computer geek who somehow landed a social life" |

The SE or SE/30 will both still run the internal, but some of the SE/30 cards with adapters for the CRT will run the internal monitor in grayscale, there's info on gamba about this, IIRC.jt ™. Trash Hauler: call sign: eight-ball C.O. AC-130H SpecOps 68kMLAAF |

I htink that the only card that will display greyscale on the internal screen is a Micron Xceed. This card is super rare and worth quite a bit of money (keep your fingers crossed.) If you get a Radius Color Pivot card, it will power any external RGB monitor. (thanks to Jag for this tip)
