I have been trying to get hotline client 1.2.3. 68k to work on my MacIIsi. With and without various versions from netscape as well, but with no success. I keep on getting a window with an ! that reports "Transport support is required but not available. Please install the necessary software. "ID 8/110)". My DSL connection works via router on the mac and downloads at good speed - up to 30 kb/sec. Macweb, iCab, and Netscape all work, but I would like to get hotline working, as I have about 200 Mb of old German programs on my second HD that I would like to share (as well as preserve). Any suggestions?

Hotline 68K requires Open Transport version 1.2 I believe (you should update to the latest version to be safe)
Check the readme and see what OT requirements are. Then upgrade by downloading the required package from Apple's http server.
Also make sure OT is active (System 7.5.3 shipped with it disabled by default, if you run this system, go into the Apple Extras folder and look for a application called "Networking" or something, it will let you switch and then reboot.)
