Well, my love affair with mac ends with the advent of the powermac I think. My 840av I am keeping, it is the best designed computer I've owned. It is fairly compact, has all the ports aligned nicley down one side which really helps me to avoid tangles. It has powerthrough & softpower. I can connect audio & video up enabling screenshots from my PSOne, amongst others. The 840av is reclaiming the 4.23 gig from the 7600. Lets see if I can get 4.23 gig, 500MB & 500MB, but so far it hasn't been happy to have three hard drives. Picking up another drive, perhaps a 9 gig would be great. I am thinking of my 840av going downstairs with the tv, would suffice as a music system (stereo hi fi, call it what you will). Long live 68k's especially the 840av. shaktiman Quadra 840av, prettymuchmaxedout8xcd drive os 8.1 128 meg ram, 500 meg hard drive 3 monitors 15" & 14" & 14" |

The Performa is pretty much trashed, had bits removed from it, in a state of disrepair. The 650 is up for sale if anyone wants it. shaktiman Quadra 840av, prettymuchmaxedout8xcd drive os 8.1 128 meg ram, 500 meg hard drive 3 monitors 15" & 14" & 14" |

I would be keen for it to stay, though it is a bit ugly & a bit of a bad diy hack job, but when I have a bigger house & some time, if I still own it then it will be set up. It would be good to install Win 95 for use with the DOS card & switch between Apple & pc, You see I do really want it, just not got the time or the money at the moment., but Win 95 set up so as to be Gemulator orientated, then can use good st software. shaktiman Quadra 840av, prettymuchmaxedout8xcd drive os 8.1 128 meg ram, 500 meg hard drive 3 monitors 15" & 14" & 14" |
