Is there a simple, elegant way of removing the motherboard of a Performa 400 from the casing?, mine is wedged in there pretty well.

Anybody got advice on desoldering chips?

My cc was so hard to get the motherboard out to put more ram in it, i just pulled on it firmly ith it against the wall and it came out, the next time i pulled it out it wasn`t so hard.
Hope this helps.

Download the service manual from Gamba's site (http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2/)...that'll tell you everything you need to know.
