Sometimes when I boot my SE/30, it gives me the startup smilie, but no more. it stops there. Rebooting again and it asks for a boot disk. Once more and it doesn´t say shit. cursor appears, nothing more. Now and then it gets better if I turn it upside down or shakes it a little. Then it might even start up, but then it just hangs, and Im back to square 1. Ive checked the inside, no loose cables or anything. what the ---- is wrong? Im ready to go voodoo on this machine!//onionkid Classic + LC II + spraypaint = LC242 |

Bad drive, drive cable or scsi connectro. try removign the drive or disconnecting it and boot off the floppy. If it works, reformat the drive or replace it, depending.http://www.jagshouse.com - the web's oldest classic Mac site, used Mac goodies for sale. |
