What would be the latest version of this software title to work on a 68k mac? shaktiman Quadra 840av 128MB ram 2MB vram cd drive(caddy),1 caddy!:-)1.44 floppy drive,inject :-(1.2 gig drive

I ummed & arred about where to put the posts, but this was a software post & the other was a hardware post.Perhaps we should have a "Isawthisonebay" forum? "ISTOE" to shorten the forum title(&confuse the hell outa any newcomers) Thanks for the replies. Did ya get your 840av Dana? I need a ROM from Quadra 840 AV to run my MacOS 8.1 under Basilisk II.
This ROM is the best to run.

I use a ROM from Performa 630. Runs fine, but I want more...

or any other quadra ROM for that matter, you can still runjust about any speed with any amount of RAM, even with a 605 ROM...and the 840av ROM can't run A/UX  (not that A/UX can run in any emulated environment anyway...) Official 68k videographer

luclavilo, don't ask for illegal stuff.Besides, Basilisk II does not support AV ROMS, they are 2MB which freaks it out. The only differece between some ROMS are thier Appletalk support.

and why would you need to emulate a GeoPort (isn't that what the AV roms give you?)either way, most of the AV macs have alot of unsupported hardware as far as unixes and many programs and IO cards are concerned... Official 68k videographer
