i just got a 2000 so i've been looking up all my sites that i used to goto when i heavily used my 130 (few years ago) so here's what i've found so far. the other night i forgot to bookmark a few really good ones, but i'll find them again.

www.unna.org (probably the best and it's still updated)

www.planetnewton.com (hasn't been updated since 98 (I think)

http://www.thisoldnewt.com/index2.html (this is the place to be. they don't exactly host files, but they have links and are updated religiously.)

--- they have a link for the newton talk list. I'd check that out. it's where most of the active developers talk about stuff. sign up for the digest, it's not such a pain.

www.kallisys.com this is paul guyot's page. he's basically a god in the newton world. he's written an ata driver for compact flash cards. this is a big deal because flash cards are REALLY expensive and small compared to compact flash cards and such. What's also cool is that he picked up where apple failed. He's also working on other projects too.

http://T.webring.com/hub?ring=newtonring&id=153&hub the newton webring. most sites are gone, but you can find some that are just really cool. like some dude who is developing a new screen for the 2x00s that is way better and more efficient. i forgot that url.

http://homepage.mac.com/dettmer/newton/ tons of updated info. i just found about this site this week, haven't spent much time there yet.

http://newted.dyndns.org/ they are also the place to be for info.

http://www.panix.com/~clay/newton/text.cgi old but still good

There are tons of sites for developers, if you're interested in something in particular i can point you in a good direction.

there's a caracho server called os6 that has newton software, but there isn't much there that isn't at unna. this old newt has links for newton user groups (nugs) they usually have a file archive as well.
