finally found some info on this card! (about 50 Pages of bs!)
quote:

Sound Accelerator II NuBus card, DAT I/O digital interface and
Sound Designer II software by Digidesign - $120 CDN or $75 US.

AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital input and output via the DAT I/O.
Analog Output (unbalanced on 1/4 inch TRS phone plug) on card.
Control over sample rate, emphasis, clock source.
Two track editing/processing control with Sound Designer 2.1 software.

The card is designed to work on 680x0 NuBus Macintosh computers (not on PowerMacs).

does anybody know if the 1/4" Headphone Jack is really Analog "OUT"? some of the mentions also say "IN" and "I/O" <rolleyes>

if it's either out or i/o, maybe i could use this card in the RomLessDuoDock or NuBusMiniDock to get stereo out! a 68k Duo would be cool for the BoomBoxDock hack, maybe this is one of the DSP's MpegDec might (someday or does currently?) support?

any ideas appreciated in advance!
(for this card OR the PAS 16!)

jt . .
