alternately: thicker sheet of lucite, steel wool to frost it, drill/bits, led's, resistors, fab applique and drill small holes in case for wire leads and bigger holes partway into plexi for leds.could also fab an edge moulding around plexi to make it stand off the surface of the case so there's room for the led's without drilling. get one of the round battery operated push the dome to turn it on lights and create graphic on the dome.
