-very- nice idea for the red light - something subtle n dimmed would do spot on, methinks :). You mention your familiarity with auto accessories/mods, and thats something I've often referred to when it comes to case mods. Puters seem to get some really tacky work done, and rarely of the extreme quality of some of the fantastic car builders out there. My sister and I are both lapsed petrolheads/revheads/gearheads/whateveryouwannacallus :) and hung around that scene a lot when we were younger. Good to see more of it coming into casefiddling :D dana

amen to that!since you've sprayed the keycaps, black keycap printing in runes would go nicely with the decor. you might even be able to keep it legible/LOTR inspired if you choose a font like le griffe/swash or something similar. it makes me think of a web-connected palantir! awsome!
