Just an FYI really - I have a ZuluSCSI blaster in my 8500 in passthrough mode with two partitions, one bootable, and after installing a Machspeed G3 and doing the CUDA reset etc. it could not detect the partitions or boot from the ZS at all.
I took the SD card and put in my TiBook running tiger, and found that both partitions mounted perfectly. I verified the drive in Disk Utility, but it reported that both partitions were fine, so I didn't do anything else.
I put the SD card back in the ZS/8500, and it immediately recognised the partitions and booted normally.
Something about mounting them on the TiBook fixed it, I have no idea how or why, but I post in case anyone else encounters this.
