The Complete Book of Macintosh Assembly language Programming Vol I

I've been looking for a copy of Vol I ever since I found a copy of the Vol II, pdf online. They occasionally come up, but for more money than I'm willing to pay. The other day, one came up in my eBay search results from Thriftbooks for $18 shipped and I bought it a few mins later. The book is in better shape than the photo shows and most of the pages are pristine, although some have a little edge damage.

I am really going to enjoy using this!

I finally got my book scanner built, and dialing in the exact lighting and camera placement is taking a bit of time, but I am getting closer and had some individual shots during testing that are perfect except for a small reflection from a seam that I need to mask.

I'm still sorting out how best to capture the images - here are some examples that I took (still tuning the angles of the camera, light position, etc.)
1) taken with the camera and adjusted for trapezoid (I think that is where the RH focus issues come from) and lighting

2,3) vFlat scans - unadjusted (smaller file - 1/4 the size, automatically flattened and cropped, but the text seems slightly blurry)

4) vFlat scan - adjusted for lighting (and glare on the RH side)

I'm still tuning things in, so if anyone has suggestions (particularly about the text blur) let me know.
