Good morning,
I'm sorry for the delay posting this here.
A couple weeks ahead of this thread, we posted new rules for the forum. They are listed here:
https://68kmla.org/bb/help/terms/
There's no subforum-specific rules in play here and unless any of you are under 13 years old, that boils down to two rules.
It's fine not to like a specific thing. You can choose what to look at and engage with. It's even fine to say you don't like the thing, but we want to do so within the bounds of treating other people on the forum with respect.
But I'm generally of the mind that it's not worth policing how other people do a hobby. My personal rules are the best <hobby-object> is the one in your hands and there's no wrong way to do the hobby.
We may revisit this later, right now there is no ban on or plans for a ban on relevant LLM-generated content, posting projects that were developed with LLM assistance, or discussions of LLM/AI technology in general.
As a meta note... we spent like 20 years managing the cognitive overhead of loads of hyper-specific rules and my hope is that if we're all decent people we can manage with a set of simple guidelines.
