Power button for beige g3

Good morning! I was hoping for a little advice. I recently picked up a beige G3. I am working on getting it up and running again. It seems to be in good shape though it needs a hard drive. When I purchased it, I made sure the power button was there. The good news is that it IS there. The bad news is the little arms have broken off. What would be the best way to deal with this problem? I looked on eBay and didn’t see much. Any advice is appreciated.

It depends if you want function or a restored machine. I'd just use the power button on the keyboard.

I wouldn't buy an original replacement - they're just as likely to break. I wouldn't press one on my machine (other than accidentally when I forget) even if it was there.

I think I've seen people selling 3D printed replacements, but can't see one that explicitly says for Beige G3 at the moment and I'm not sure - is the 7500 button identical or different?

You know I connected a keyboard that seems to have a power button and I tried that and nothing. Is there a specific keyboard I need?

Any ADB keyboard with a power button should work.

Are you sure the computer works? They keyboard? The ADB cable? The power cord?

The 7500 is the same. I picked one up for my G3. It's not quite as good as the original and, in my machine, it needs a little tape to position it correctly. But it works.
