The SE/30’s built in screen. The size of the display is bigger than it should be. To be stock it needs adjustment. 7 in x 4.7 in is the size the screen image should occupy. This leaves noticeable black space above and below the image between it and the bezel. From your pics it looks like the screen is not this size.
This photo right here. Hence the image looks stretched vertically because it’s taller than it should be.
