I made an Classic Mac App Store for Macintosh Garden

Now that it's so easy to get your Mac online with the BlueSCSI v2, I had an idea – a simple App Store for classic Macs which makes use of Macintosh Garden. I built it with retro68 and some assistance from Claude, and it works.

I haven't tested it on a Mac Plus or in System 6, but on my Macintosh Iicx running System 7, it works quite well both with MacTCP and OpenTransport. I think it uses about 2 MB of RAM.

I'm still testing it, but I am happy to hear some feedback! I've attached some disk image files with the latest build.

I'd been stalling on getting any of my Macs online, because part of the intent was actually to stay offline… but for this I may have to give it a go.

Wow, that is a cool app store for our old Macs! Thanks for sharing! I would love to help you out with it (especially with System 6 support). However, I am not familiar with Retro68 and I prefer developing on real hardware, so I will see if I can build it on THINK C.
