Finally have most of my macs networked

Have finally purchased 10 aaui transceivers to finally get my Macs networked. My dock had an aaui port so it is finally great to be able to network my 270c, 280c, and 2300c to the my desktop g4 that has most of my mac stuff.

So now most of my macs from iici, iifx se/30 through 68040 macs like 840av with aaui, and powerpc units like the 6100 can now access the g4. I love this so much. So easy and no more floppies or making cd’s. Amazing how much money this networking stuff still demands. Love the ease of use of these old systems though..

exactly. It makes a huge difference. Found a 16 port switch at value village and network cables are a buck a piece at most thrift stores lol.. even the long ones. So why not? Even reflowed the solder on my comm slot ii Ethernet card and it works now. It wasnt recognized before so now my 5500 works good too.
