so I have a weird problem coming up and I have no idea how to solve it. I have a 6500 board - actually I have two boards, virtually identical, both 603ev 275MHz/512K cache, 64MB ram, with a CS II Slot. I purchased two identical Apple CSII Ethernet cards, with DIGITAL chips. I install one in the working and booting 6500 board, and it simply fails to boot. Remove the card, everything works again. SO I do a few permutations, exchange cards and boards, and the same exact thing happens. I have 8.6 installed on a SD placed in an IDE2microSD adapter, but the MacOs version I believe makes no difference - it never gets to a happy mac, I always get a black screen.
WTF? Both cards come from the same vendor. Anyone have ideas?
