Hey all.
I’m about ready to rip my hair out and I need some explanations.
1. Color Classic with 575 board
2. 640X480 Analog Board VGA Mod
3. Fresh install of 7.5 from Factory Apple 575 CD-Rom drive.
4. Installed on Zip drive as well as hard drive for testing
5. Daystar PowerPro Control Panel
6. 601 Control Panel
7. 601 PPC card installed
8. 68040 mode works perfect
9. Ram doesn’t matter, 20Mb or 132Mb
10. TWO DIFFERENT 575 boards
Try opening up the PowerPro control panel, switch to 601.
Restart Mac.
PowerPC boot chime happens.
Black screen. Nothing.

Now, here’s the caveat: the SAME BOARD BOOTS NO PROBLEMS IN A 550 or 575 chassis.
I hope there’s a crazy simple explanation for this.
I’ve seen Action Retro’s video of him succeeding, so I’d really like to know what I’m missing here.
Somebody help. Please.
