What is the best DVD replacement for the G4, I have a Digital Audio and the DVD drive is not working. I get lost with all the options, but want the most modern DVD options for dual layer and R+ if able.

Are there any US based equivalents as we wait for the Tariff issue to resolve? $50 shipping from France is hard for an item that is $2.99.

Rominator I is working great but the boot sound seems to have a click sound or abrupt cut at the end of the chime. Looks like it is well seated and working otherwise. Stock rom without any boot chime issue. Any one run in to this problem before....

Wondering if anyone has a solution to using Timbuktu Pro 4 and System 7.5.5. If running the computer hangs on shutdown; I can see the Timbuktu icon disappear in the right upper corner after selection of shutdown; then can use mouse only and computer hangs and doesn't shut down -- need to unplug...

Make sure you don’t have the netatalk -no password setting. This prevents the saving of passwords on the client side…pulled my hair out for a while on this one.

Thanks for the guidance. Got it working on the MacPlus using 6.0.8 and a localtalk cable to the IIci -- running 7.5.5 and OT with LocalTalk Bridge enabled.

I updated the firmware on my zuluscsi. Seems to work a bit better with getting the Appletalk server to show up and log into it.....but...... On reboot I continue to get the System Address Error, can't get around it even with holding shift down. I need to remove the prep files and sometimes...

I found my problem; accidentally bought an isolated vs. a bussed 6 pin array. Put the bussed in and an all is working.

Any fix found for this? or any leads to focus on? I have the same issue cropping up on my re-capped SE/30.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have used the following replacements from Digikey: a) 6 pin Res Array 3 Res 470 ohm 6SIP b) 5 pin Res Array 4 Res 10k ohm 5SIP I'm not sure if these are right? there are a lot of options on Digikey. Sorry if I don't have a clear understanding of what to purchase...
