I did the cloning using carbon copy. Now I just reinstalled OS X and during installation it let me copy all my files and application from the other installatio so everything works fine now.

Right now I have OS X Tiger on my primary 30 GB slave drive because I had some issues with installed hard drives. now I installed a 120 GB hard drive as my primary master and it will see it, now I want to copy my installed OS X with all my programs to the 120 GB drive but how do I do that ?
Bert
Well, during insatllation of Ubuntu 8.04 it suddenly showed 2 hard drives, it wouldn't let me partition the 28 GB drive, it kept giving me errors. So I put the OS X Tiger CD in it and it let me install it on the 28 Gig drive, now I'm going to install Ubuntu 8.04 on the 6 Gig drive.

Okay, the only way I got it to boot up is by holding down the OPTION key on startup. It only sees my old 6 gig Apple HD and not the other two drives. My Primary master drive is a 33 GB, primary slave 6 GB, secondary master is my CD rom drive and secondary slave a 28 GB HD. So it boots from CD...
For some reason my Quicksilver won't regonize any hard drive I put in. I tried different one which I know worked before. I swapped them with a PC and now I'm trying my Mac again but having problems. Any ideas ?

Bert

I copied the installation DVD to a harddrive and the put this in a FireWire harddrive enclosure, when I hold down the "option" key while booting it will let me select the drive with the installer and it will start but then it will just keeps...
Okay, so i typed in those three lines as described in the link in the previous post but then what do I do ? After hitting return after the third line how do I reboot ? just hit the reset button ?
Bert
I have this DVD with Leopard on it but my Quicksilver won't boot from it, I even tried coping the DVD to my second hard drive and boot from there but it won't. Any ideas ?
