Installing OpenGL 1.2.4 (same version I have on OS 9.2.2 folder) fixed it. Now everything works under OS 8.6, too. Wish I found those ATI drivers way before, but never came across them until then. They would've spared me a lot of headache when I first acquired my Radeon 9200.

I found this extension on a package called Old-Radeon-Software.sit but it seems to have issues with switching resolutions. Switching from 1280x1024 to 640x480 or vice-versa makes everything on the screen go away except for the gray background and the mouse arrow. Even on reboot it persists...

Posted on your thread about the 9250. Use MacOS9Lives compilation of Mac OS 9.2.2. It was the only way I could get my Radeon 9200 working.

Sorry, I actually meant both on my G3 and Sheepshaver... I've only seen it happening on the 4th episode. And the crash in Redneck Rampage occurs right on the 2nd level of the 1st episode.

Unfortunately that didn't fix the infinite loop problem, but I could play the games by setting my mac to a different date.

Oh boy... another possible cause my overclock is failing... Hyundai RAM. Testing now with the pc133 and the toshiba pc100 chips (total 512mb), running for 1:30 hours. No problems so far. Edit: Dang! too soon.
