I would say monochromatic cartoon drawing with some anime/manga influence. I watched a lot of Japanese animation as a kid so my drawings will tend to reproduce anime and manga style.

Just curious: Why use Photoshop rather than Illustrator or similar?

That's because Photoshop is raster not vector drawing. It lets me draw naturally, just like drawing on paper with pen pressure transparency and thickness. This is how I like drawing.
