That's one, super-compressed Big Mess 'O' Wires! So, I'm guessing this is a compact Mac supporting 32-bit mode (so 68020 or higher?) with a modified ROM containing a compressed disk image (System 6.0.8)? V good!
It’s my SE/30! I haven’t got as far as customising the disk image, but I should as 7.1 does not boot with 1MB RAM! I’ve been using 6.0.3 on a diskette but I need the original ROM installed for that. I think I should upgrade to 2MB RAM
A little while ago, I read through a number of the Apple design docs for System 7 (i.e. the 'Blue' docs). They tried hard to make System 7 work in 1MB, using a far more complex Segment manager that tracked return addresses and stack usage so that applications could return to purged code segments!!!
