Thank you! These are very interesting details.
By the way, one of my contacts sent me a link to this review of the Macintosh Bernoulli Box from the July 29th, 1985 issue of InfoWorld. Not sure if this provides any additional information or not...
I only have the 5.25" Bernoulli cartridges (and drives) in my collection, but I do know a couple of people with 8" cartridges. I’ll check with them to see what capacity disks they have.
Can you share a link (or scan) of the brochure you’re referring to?

Do you simply not have a Zip drive anymore? Or is the disk itself lost to history?
You might using Paul Guyot’s SimpleArchive.
https://www.kallisys.com/files/newton/Utils/SimpleArchive-0.1.pkg
It was created specifically for transferring .pkg files between various Newton devices, usually via beaming.
There’s a bit of information about SimpleArchive on the NewtonTalk mailing...

I believe this is the same Pict2pkg applications that was bundled with NewtPaint.

Does your Marco power up when using the AC adapter, but without the lithium backup battery installed?
I can’t seem to get any of my Marco devices to power up anymore.
