Hi, as far as I know it's only the LC and the LCII, they are the same machine. It's only happening with the Samsung VRAM, the NEC VRAM is fine.
It is known to work in the LCIII, but the LCIII can only take 256k extra.
@franklyn, reach out to me, I always exchange defective products. I do test everything before shipping of course, but it's impossible to get it 100% right. Sometime damages happen during shipping. Some of my products are made using original new old stock components like VRAM, they are 30+ years...
I do not think it relates to macsbug. It's an issue between the VRAM and the Mac LC. Glitches should occur within the finder when dragging windows around as well.
There is a known issue with the TSSOP version of my VRAM, which uses NEC chips, and the Mac LC. A customer reported it to me several month ago and I have been able to replicate this on a LC that I have purchased since. Other macs are unaffected.

I've been interested in making one for quite a while, I have a pair of 4MB DIMM but they have chips on both sides which is not ideal for assembly. That white module would be more ideal, I did not had the energy to route one from scratch which is why it has not been done yet. I also lacked a test...
At least, for my products, federate a group order to share shipping could be a solution. I am not happy to have to charge that much for shipping, this is my cheapest option actual cost :(

I have placed 16MB in my SuperMac Thunder/24 and can confirm that only 8MB are seen, so 8MB seems to be the maximum amount of GWORLD RAM supported.
