Hey, me too! Didn't know there were any other Newton users here.

This is driving me bonkers. At some point in the past I made a bootable install disc for this Pismo. Ever since then, though, I cannot burn a CD or DVD that works. USB SuperDrive, burns discs that the MacBook reads fine, pop them in the Pismo, no dice. I have an OS 9 install CD it will read but...

The point is to use machines which have internal AirPort cards, running classic MacOS, for which there are no 802.11g card drivers. Also, who is doing anything worth spying on with a thirty-year-old computer? That is a fake problem 😆

Interesting. They’re practically laying around on the ground in the US. Might be worth international shipping, I’ve been surprised how cheap it is sometimes to send stuff across the pond.

Fair nuff. Personally, having delicate stuff sticking out the side of the machine concerns me. Well worth the $20-30 an AP card costs, IMO.
