Replaced RAM on the board.
Still get a bus error when the Init tries to load.
No clue at this point.
I'll be replacing the lithium NVRAM battery with a MacBatt that came in the mail yesterday, then decide if I'm going to continue to try and make that accelerator work, or remove it and work it...
Is someone making new PDS riser cards that would let us put more than one card in an SE?
YES, I know I likely need to remove a drive or two. I've done that, as I'm using an external BlueSCSI for drive purposes.
I have an Accelerator card in an SE already and would like to add the ethernet...
So..I have an SE with soldered in PRAM battery. I’m going to clip it out and solder in a MacBatt to get away from the lithium potential leak. Why did you choose the battery and holdrr?
Alright...
So the accelerator board is not working.
The memory is not activating (it has 16MB on it and the system only sees the 4mb on the motherboard board).
And I get a bus error when the Init tries to load for extra controls, in both system 7.1.1 and 6.0.8
I'm going to have to open it up...
I do!
It's installed in my "SE Faux 30"
An SE motherboard, with the NewLife 16mhz 68030 W/ FPU card, in an SE/30 case (because this has the good screen)
I've got an intel iMac.

Download the files I want directly to the SD card, and then manipulate everything in the destination environment
Ok... I managed to get stuffit 4 installed.
And I have just about every disk image utility known to Apple installed...

https://www.savagetaylor.com/2023/01/17/68k-accelerators-newlife-computer-corporation/#nl16se
That has the drivers for the...
thanks for that... With the Recovery disk from Apple, I'm pretty sure I can get the Asante EN/SC working, and just download directly the rest of anything I need.
Ok...
I either need a premade .hda file for my BlueSCSI that has some tools in it (like stuff it expander), or I need to know what the file type is for a SEA file so I can edit with ResEdit and get my stuff it .sea file working.
I've got a bunch of .sit files ready to go....
