I dont know how many people here actually have succeeded in restoring a Duo keyborad fully working. I have cleaned and retraced the copper lines on the foil underneath but no, instead repleced it with an older Duo one. I think I have to live with three keys not working on my Duo 270c.

my 180MHz 2400c also doesnt support PcCards, only PCMCIA, also did the wirecut mod. Firewire definitley would need more power and only PcCard slots can provide this

nope..It would run @216Mhz with the 48mhz crystal but the system became a bit unstable, went back to the stable 190Mhz

ok, one keyboard messed up 😂.. maybe I overdid the tracing, whatever, it doesnt work anymore. thinking about the actuall (stupid) physicality behind the usage of two foils over another, the thing that is making the contact actually is the ring inside the rubber dome ..I think. havent taken...

I got me this conductive pen from ebay..I hope this will work on my 270c keyboard layers.. so, you just draw with this pen over the surface of the copper traces?

I love my mechanical Cherry keyboard in my Erazer Beast x40 gaming laptop, at first I was a bit concerned about the typing sounds but in the meantime I must say I really prefer it.. This Duo keyboard looks very promising.

Thats right, just a shame that they stored the vinegar 230 with the 2300c..but well, what can you say for 130 bucks. Right, theres life in it, will try to reinitialize the hdd ..

at the moment I'm at the 270c, really lovely 68k Mac, I like it even more than my 190c, the 270c apparently was the only one of the 68k Duos that has an internal 68882 FPU in it..yesterday I fired up the Duo Dock, its working, too..kinda enerving to cable it all up with other bulky SCSI decives...
