Powerbook Duo 280c + Accessories Maintenance

I love my mechanical Cherry keyboard in my Erazer Beast x40 gaming laptop, at first I was a bit concerned about the typing sounds but in the meantime I must say I really prefer it.. This Duo keyboard looks very promising.

Thats right, just a shame that they stored the vinegar 230 with the 2300c..but well, what can you say for 130 bucks. Right, theres life in it, will try to reinitialize the hdd ..

    interesting haul so far

at the moment I'm at the 270c, really lovely 68k Mac, I like it even more than my 190c, the 270c apparently was the only one of the 68k Duos that has an internal 68882 FPU in it..yesterday I fired up the Duo Dock, its working, too..kinda enerving to cable it all up with other bulky SCSI decives...

    interesting haul so far

picked this up locally, a nice older couple, both were working on Macs since the 90s. a lot of boxes with goodies.. Powerbook Duo 230 ( vinegar display), working Powerbook Duo 270c, working Powerbook Duo 2300, all with power adapters, two micro Duo Docks with floppy disk drives and cables, data...

Powerbook G3 Pismo does not recognise Belkin F5D7011card with Broadcom chipset.

this is the Orinoco version with complete installer that worked most of the time on my machines with 8/ 9 and my Orinoco Gold/Silver or equivalents..other WaveLan versions didnt, it correctly recognizes the chip version.. And under OsX I just use a common, cheap Gigaset Siemens 54 PcCard that...

2009 MacBook Pro Found at Thrift Shop

yeah, I find that any early i5/i7 iMacs with 27" display ( which are cheap and plenty) are very useful at home still..a good industrial design, only plug in keyboard/w mouse and off you go, perfect for elderly and kids..even supports Windows in Bootcamp.

2009 MacBook Pro Found at Thrift Shop

yeah those Intel Core 2 Duo Macs are quite common, but I prefer the early i5/i7 , they a bit more useable today. I recently found one of those 2006 black MacBooks but couldnt find a use for it actually, sold it..

Help needed- Obscure issue with Powerbook Pismo G3. Black Square on Startup OSX 10.4.11

I thought you were supposed to do the 10.4.11 updates before even installing shuriken, a necessary requirement to do Shuriken over it? your 'black box' looks just like the black background window for a kernel panic, just without the text over it.
