Thanks for posting the link to the fuse you used I’ll order a few and give this a try. I’ve let the broken 2400 sit for awhile while I worked on other projects.
I was bored and looking the busted 550c I got recently. Figured the plastic around the LCD was shot so I couldn't make it any worse gathered up the plastic and some JB weld plastic bonder. It ugly but it least I can use the screen till I can find a good replacement. Pictures attach of the...
Thanks Boole I’m thinking it’s the FPU. Went downstairs and noticed that Mactest reported the 50mhz FPU failed put the 40mhz FPU back in with the 50mhz CPU and Mactest froze. Flipped things around 40mhz cpu and 50mhz FPU test completed still reported the FPU failed but it didn’t freeze...

If you’re still looking for the serial adapter the eBay seller RyanCook11 has a couple for sale he’s asking $30 plus shipping. I offered $25 and he accepted that. Not cheap but a fair price Looks like he has two left
This is cool, makes me wish I had a 3d printer. I'm just not sure if I'd get enough use out of one to justify the purchase. Plus I really don't know much about them so not sure which one to get.
Thanks I’ve been on a bit of a roll getting things working. Probably happiest that my Mac portable is running now. Been using Macs since the early nineties I think the fixing aspect of getting into these vintage Mac has been the most fun, honestly haven’t sent a lot of time using the other then...
