    Thank you. I will try that. Should that not work, any specific third-party tool you'd recommend? The drive does have a LaCie software tools image, but Disk Copy won't open--gets an EOF error. I downloaded some LaCie tools from 2004 but haven't tried them yet. Have to wonder if they will work...
